SEO, GEO & AEO

This is where you make your store findable — three ways. SEO for classic search engines, GEO for location-based search, and AEO for the AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the like) that increasingly send buyers your way.

The SEO, GEO and AEO settings for controlling meta tags, structured data, and store discoverability
SEO / GEO / AEO: meta, structured data, and discoverability in one place.

What each covers

  • SEO — the meta titles, descriptions, and sitemap that classic search engines read.
  • GEO — surfacing your store in location-aware and map searches, for local buyers.
  • AEO — structured, machine-readable content so AI answer engines can cite your store when someone asks.

What happens — and what doesn't

  • Good structured data helps both Google and AI engines understand what you sell.
  • These settings shape how your store appears in results — the copy and markup search and answer engines see.
  • PieOS can run SEO work for you, with your approval.
What's the difference between SEO and AEO?

SEO optimizes for classic search engines like Google. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) optimizes for AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, so they can cite your store in their answers.

Can PieOS help with SEO?

Yes. The PieOS SEO agent can run SEO tasks on your store, proposing changes you approve.
